Here are web 2.0 tools to teach students about 'Interests and Activities'


Lingolia: This site is good for students to learn grammar rules and study with various exercises. In order for students to write down an appropriate and grammatically correct writing activity, they should know about the grammer rules that is going to be used in the essay. For 'Interests and Activities' topic, the students should be good at Simle Present Tense and Simple Past Tense.















Bubly.us: Bubly is an easy tool for getting students brainstorming. After learning the rules and usage very well, they are given sentences about the topic. By using this site, students are expected to find key words and brainstorm on sentences written below:

-Talk about Music
-Talk about what to do in your free times
-Talk about past events and present activities
-Talk about Sports
-Talk about your interests












Looseleaves: This site is quite useful for students to improve their writing skills. After finding key words and brainstorming on them, they are expected to, for example, write about their interets in sports.













Reverso: Reverso is a site consisting of translation, grammer exercises and spell check. Students can use the feature of 'spell check' to make sure that their writing activity is grammatically correct.










Edublogs: Edublogs, one of the most popular educational blog site, is pretty useful for publishing their writings. After checking and correcting their mistakes, they can publish their writing activity through this site to convey their work to other people.

Penzu: This site is an online diary and personal journal which helps students improve their writing skills. Students are asked to write about their future plans like what they want to be or where they want to be in the future.








Englishgrammersecrets: This site includes various grammer lessons and exercises for students. It is suggested for students to read the grammer explanations first, and then do the exercises below. These exercises are 'Mix and Match', 'Put the Words in the Correct Order', 'Complete the Sentences' and 'Group the Sentences.'














Englishexercises: This site offers lots of exercises from vocabulary to grammer to the students. Here in this 'future plans' activity, students are expected to comprehend the schedule and choose the right answer.
